Embodied She

This isn’t movement to perfect. It’s movement to feel.

Embodied She is my approach to yoga, Qigong and movement created with women in mind.

Some classes are slow and rooted. Some build strength, heat and confidence. Others work with stillness, breath and deep rest.

No two classes are exactly the same, but each one offers a way back into your body.

You’ll move in a candlelit sanctuary where there is no pressure to keep up, perform or get everything right. You are encouraged to listen to your body, work at your own pace and take what you need from the practice.

Whether you are joining a class for the first time or returning to something familiar, you will be welcomed exactly as you are.

Embodied She is movement that meets you in the season you are in and leaves you feeling stronger, steadier and more connected than when you arrived.

Morning Practice

Grounding Earth Flow

Tuesday 7:00–8:00am

Begin the day with your feet on the earth and some unhurried attention for your body.

Our Tuesday practice centres on fascia release, weaving gentle yoga and somatic movement with cork rollers and massage balls. We give time to the feet, hips, back and shoulders, exploring the places that feel tight, tired or overworked.

You choose the pressure and pace, with blocks and half rollers offering support where needed. There is time to pause, notice and respond to what your body needs.

An earthy, nourishing morning ritual to ease into movement and feel more at home in yourself.

Rooted Qigong

Tuesday 8:15–9:00am

A moving meditation to gather your energy before the day unfolds.

Drawing on the Chinese tradition of cultivating Qi, we combine slow, flowing movements with breath and focused attention. We circle, reach and shift our weight through simple, repeated sequences, exploring balance, coordination and quiet strength.

The whole practice takes place standing, with no mat or equipment needed. Feet rooted to the earth, we find fluidity through comfortable movement and settle into an unhurried rhythm.

We close standing in stillness, accompanied by the warm resonance of Tibetan singing bowls. A moment to receive the sound and notice how you feel before continuing your day.

Heart Opening Flow with Hawthorn Tea

Friday 7:00–8:00am

A morning ritual devoted to the heart.

We begin over a warm cup of hawthorn berry tea, traditionally associated with the heart, love and protection. A moment for conversation and connection before we begin our practice.

Flowing yoga, gentle backbends and work with the yoga wheel bring attention to the chest, shoulders and upper back. Blocks offer support as you explore each shape, choosing the depth and pace that feel right for you.

The heart is our theme: the care we offer ourselves, the connections that sustain us and our willingness to receive a little tenderness.

A warm beginning to your Friday, held within our women’s sanctuary.

Rest within the ritual

Grounding Earth Flow and Heart Opening Flow finish with at least ten minutes of Savasana. Optional anointing oils, comforting hands-on touch and the gentle sounds of tuning forks, Tibetan bowls or Koshi chimes may accompany your rest.

All practices are for women, with beginners warmly welcomed. Touch and essential oils are always optional.

Evening Flow

Womb Flow

Wednesday 6:30–7:30pm

An invitation to move from within and honour the rhythm of your own body.

Gentle yoga, soft spirals and pelvic circles bring attention to the hips, pelvis and lower back. We weave fluid movement with rooted strength, using small yoga balls, resistance bands, straps and blocks to support our exploration.

The womb space offers a focus for creativity, intuition and connection. There is freedom to move expressively, linger in a stretch or choose a quieter pace, following what feels right for you that evening.

For women at every stage of life, with or without a physical womb.

Rooted Qigong

Thursday 6:30–7:15pm

A moving meditation to gather your energy as the day turns towards evening.

Drawing on the Chinese tradition of cultivating Qi, we bring together slow, flowing movements, steady breathing and focused attention. Simple, repeated sequences allow you to explore balance, coordination and quiet strength.

The whole practice takes place standing. Feet rooted to the earth, we circle, reach and shift our weight, finding fluidity through comfortable movement.

We close standing in stillness, accompanied by the warm resonance of Tibetan singing bowls. A moment to receive the sound and settle before stepping back into your evening.

Sculpted Solar Flow Yoga

Thursday 7:30–8:30pm

An invitation to awaken your inner fire, step into your strength and take up space.

Dynamic, breath-led yoga weaves together with resistance bands, dumbbells and kettlebells. Through flowing sequences, steady Goddess shapes and purposeful lunges, we explore strength, balance and stamina.

The solar element brings themes of confidence, courage and personal power into our practice. A choice of weights lets you find the challenge that feels right for your body, with blocks and half rollers available for support.

We build warmth through movement, enjoy the strength within our shapes and then soften into stillness.

Rest within the ritual

Womb Flow and Sculpted Solar Flow Yoga close with at least ten minutes of Savasana. Optional anointing oils, comforting hands-on touch and the gentle sounds of tuning forks, Tibetan bowls or Koshi chimes may accompany your rest.

All practices are for women, with beginners warmly welcomed. Touch and essential oils are always optional.

Deep Rest

Yin by Candlelight with Crystal Bowls

Sunday 7:00–8:15pm

The candles are lit. Your place is ready. This time belongs to you.

Our Sunday evening practice unfolds through four-week arcs, each woven around a theme or story. Across the weeks, we explore its threads through longer-held Yin shapes, reflection and the spacious sound of crystal singing bowls.

Each evening is a complete practice in itself. You can join at any point in the arc, with no need to have attended the previous sessions.

Bolsters, blankets and blocks offer support as we explore gentle, sustained stretches. There is time to notice sensation, follow your breath and find your own expression of each shape, adjusting whenever you need.

We close with an extended rest beneath your blankets as the bowls fill the Temple with sound.

An invitation to put down the demands of your week and let yourself be held by the story, the stillness and the sanctuary.

Monthly Yoga Nidra

Monday evening, once a month

Some evenings, simply lying down and being guided is enough.

Yoga Nidra is a practice of guided rest. Supported by cushions and blankets, you are led through awareness of the body, breath and imagery, with nothing to memorise or get right.

You may remain aware throughout or drift between waking and sleep. There is no particular experience you need to achieve.

Our guided practice flows into the gentle sound of singing bowls, followed by tea and an optional oracle card. Time to linger, reflect and enjoy being together before heading home.

A monthly ritual of stillness and connection within the warmth of the Temple.

For women. Beginners are warmly welcomed.
